Inspiration
Our Founder and Director, Leah Liao, was inspired by the idea of "Sonder", and the power of expression. In a world where everyone's thoughts and emotions often go unspoken, she believes in the profound importance of giving them voice.
SOI's vision centers on the idea of PP—Perspective and Presentation. How we present ourselves can shape others' perspectives, and in turn, their perspective can transform our presentation. It’s a dynamic, ever-evolving dance, where each influences the other in a delicate balance.
Expression takes many forms beyond words or gestures—Art itself is a language of its own. Through art, people find a path to self-discovery, understanding, and connection. Whether it's to cope with stress, earn a living, or simply find joy, countless motives lead people to create. That is when Art becomes a universal canvas where dreams, struggles, and passions unites.
